Can you demonstrate compliance to the ICO?

The ICO has stated that they have moved on from worrying about basic compliance and that they are now focusing on accountability.

So, what is this about?  The accountability principle says that a controller (your organisation) must comply with the GDPR, but … must also be able to demonstrate compliance.

Find out in this short course how you can demonstrate compliance.  Create a prioritised action plan and be confident that you’re in control.

Since 2010 Computer Law Training has been delivering data protection training at all levels and consultancy for a wide range of clients, large and small.  This allows our training to be grounded and practical – we really do understand what accountability is about.

Course numbers are limited to eight and delivery will be through the Zoom platform.  Attendees will be expected to use a webcam.  Together with Zoom’s chat facility this will allow interaction with the trainer.

Topics covered include:

  • what is accountability?
  • the accountability portfolio
  • training requirements
  • data protection by design & DPIAs
  • other accountability requirements: DPOs, personal data breach reporting …
