You need to monitor employees’ performance. They have a right to privacy. Where does the balance lie?

Monitoring of employees is tricky – it is intrusive but often necessary.  Employees have a right to privacy, but employers have a right to check on them.  It is all about getting the balance right and, where appropriate, letting employees know about monitoring.

The course will include:

  • what is the relevant legislation?
  • interception of communications

  • justification for monitoring
